500 mg Film-Coated Tablet

ANTIBACTERIAL

FORMULATION:

Each Film Coated Tablet Contains:

Cefuroxime (as axetil) …. 500 mg

INDICATION:

In the treatment of infections such as lower respiratory tract infection, upper respiratory tract infections and gonorrhea, meningitis, Genito-urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria.

DOSAGE AND MODE/ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:

The usual course of therapy is 7 days (Range 5-10 days). Cefuroxime Axetil should be taken after food for optimal absorption.
For uncomplicated urinary tract infections: 125mg twice daily
Respiratory tract infections: 250mg-500mg daily
Uncomplicated Gonorrhoea: single dose of 4g as prescribes by the doctor

STORAGE CONDITION:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 c
